Excited to discover that two of my poems, “Friday Nights,” and “Lost in Translation” were accepted for publication in the 2024 Westland Writes.

As usual, I waited until the last possible minute, but at least I remembered to submit them. This new Google Calendar I created just for this purpose may work out.

I submitted them at 5pm on April 30 and got a response saying they were accepted the next day. By May 2nd, they sent the proofs for my approval.

Kudos to the organizer of the publication for such a quick turnaround!
