The year in review

Sunday, April 6 Brighton Local Author Showcase

To serve both local authors and library patrons, The Brighton District Library offers twice yearly Local Author Showcase events. Each Showcase features up to 12 authors. I was honored to be a part of the April event.

The May Lucky Squirrel was fun but WINDY! It’s one of the largest outdoor flea markets & craft events in the Metro Detroit area with a mixed bag of up to 150 different vendors selling goods such as custom-made jewelry, pallet board creations, homemade bath & candle products, pet products, vintage wares, seasonal jams, honey, baked goods, various kinds of art and crafts, not to mention bric-a-brac of items like books, toys, and tools, as well as outdoor yard art and garage sale finds. See photos.
