It’s been years since my husband and I promoted our website business and another side business where we took “Event Photos to Go.” We were hired by a local airline to take photos at charity golf events and print the photos onsite for the attendees to take home. We had a blast creating our logo, banners, business cards, swag, and rack cards for the table where I sat cranking out photos for hours.

I was recently invited to an author event at a local library and I slowly realized I need to start creating promo items for my table. My head is spinning with ideas! Of course, I’ll have stacks of the three books I’ve published and, hopefully, one more that should be published a couple weeks before the event. But I’m also coming up with a new logo for myself as an author, checking out the pens we used to give out, and creating table-top banners.

Here’s the new logo (so far). Now, it’s back to work for me.
