PAST EVENTS

Saturday, April 25th, 9am-5pm – Goldner Walsh Spring Makers Market
The event had tons of traffic, and I believe there were about 60 vendors of all sorts – crafts, jewelry, art, and of course books. I had a fun time meeting readers and signing their books, including my new book, A Grieving Heart. The highlight of my day was when my grandson popped by to promote our book, I Didn’t See That Coming: One Grandmother, Two Kids, and a Whole Lotta Laughing.
The day flew by quickly, and I hope they hold the event again next year.

Saturday, April 11th, 12-5pm – Books in the Barn in Washtenaw
Books in the Barn was hosted by Katharine M Sweet of Sweet Tales With Spice and held at the Washtenaw County Fairgrounds. It was a unique venue and very well organized with lots of volunteers assisting the authors.

Saturday, Mar 28th, 10 am to 4 pm – Sip, Shop, and Read in Brighton
Creative By Sanchez hosted a great event! Their first ever Adult Bookfair was well organized and well attended, too. I met lots of interesting people, and chatted with other authors. Hope they do this again soon!

Saturday, June 7, 10-3 – Author’s Alley, Brighton
The June Author’s Alley was great fun. The event took place in Hyne Alley during the Farmer’s Market from 10:00-1:00 on Saturday, June 7th. There were twenty authors and lots of shoppers. It was a fantastic event! See more photos here.

Saturday, August 2, 10-3 and Sunday, August 3, 10-4 – 2025 Buy Michigan Now Festival
I was proud to be a participant in the Michigan Authors Showcase at this year’s Buy Michigan Now Festival in Downtown South Lyon. What a fantastic event! See more photos here.

Saturday, September 20, 10-3 – Garden City Lucky Squirrel
The September Lucky Squirrel was a lot less windy than the one I attended in May! It was a beautiful sun-shiny day and I had a great time seeing old friends and meeting new readers.
Sunday, October 5, 2-4 – Brighton District Library
Local authors from around southeast Michigan displayed their works, answered questions, and signed books. It was a wonderful event. See more photos.
Saturday, November 1, 2-4 – Westland Library
I was one of fifteen local authors at the Westland Local Author Fair where readers could connect with local authors, purchase their books. It was a fun event and I enjoyed talking with so many attendees. See more photos.
Saturday, November 15, 10-1 – Troy Local Author Fair
This event was a big one! I joined about 50 local authors at the Troy Community Center for the Local Author Fair and met and mingled with lots of readers. It was a fun afternoon. See more photos.
Saturday, November 29, 10-3 – Rochester Hills Public Library
Twenty Michigan authors were on hand to discuss their books, share their love of writing, and to sign copies of their latest books. The event included a mix of traditionally published and indie published authors from a variety of genres, including children’s fiction, adult fiction, and nonfiction titles. The popular local literary event took place in the library’s Multipurpose Room from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I made my first sale of the day five minutes into the event and it was uphill from there. See more photos.
