A Plea from the USA – A poem as we await the annihilation of a country
Yesterday, the world waited with bated breath to discover if the United States would annihilate an entire nation, I wrote a poem to assuage my anxiety. Fortunately, the attack was cancelled at the last minute. Who knows what tomorrow brings?
A PLEA FROM THE USA
The entire world waits to see
What this madman’s next move will be
Will he destroy a civilization?
Donald Trump is an abomination!
What gives one lunatic the right
To use our military’s might
Against nations across the sea
For his greed and hypocrisy?
Warmongers and fascists rule
Billionaires have a betting pool
Wagering stolen oil for gain
While average citizens feel the pain
Profits they’ll reap are the plan
At the expense of our fellow man
Congress is complicit in this game
These selfish cowards are to blame
A narcissist who failed at every turn
Now chooses which country’s next to burn
As he shambles through his last days
He’ll make sure that everyone pays
We all cringe at his every word
Each day this becomes more absurd
What has America become?
Won’t anyone remove this bum?
Please world, hear our desperate plea
From a nation who’s down on bended knee
US citizens all hate him, too
Someone stop him, we beg of you!
